Directions to the theater:
820 Massachusetts Avenue, Central Square, Cambridge, MA
The Cambridge Family YMCA is on the second floor at 820 Massachusetts Avenue,
approximately three blocks from the Central Square (Red Line) T stop.
To get into the theater: Go in the YMCA main doors. Once inside the theater entrance is on
the right.
By Subway (T):
The Central Square stop on the Red Line. From the T, proceed Northwest on Mass. Ave.
(away from Boston, in the direction of Harvard Square.) Walk 2 blocks north. Pass the post
office on your left. The YMCA is two doors down on the left from the post office, roughly
across the street from Cambridge City Hall.
By Bus:
Take any of following buses: #47, 64, 70, 70A, and CT1 to Central Square. Proceed
Northwest on Mass. Ave. (away from Boston, in the direction of Harvard Square.) Walk 2
blocks north. Pass the post office on your left. The YMCA is two doors down on the left from
the post office, roughly across the street from Cambridge City Hall.
By Car:
Mass Pike to exit 18, toward Cambridge. Go straight on River Street until you see the Police
Dept. on your left. Take a left there at the light and go straight through the 1st stop sign.
There is a parking lot on your left or you can park in that general area. Entrance to the Y is
on the opposite side of the building. Walk up to Mass. Ave; the entrance is in between the
Cambridge Senior Center and Dream On Futon.
Parking:
There is street parking all around the theater. In addition, a parking lot is located right behind
the Y, on Green Street (which is parallel to Mass Ave.) between Sellars and Pleasant Streets.
The cost is $8.00 after 6 PM and on weekend days.
The Cambridge Family YMCA Theater is handicapped accessible.
