Lisa Rafferty (Director) has directed and produced shows for professional and community
theatres in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles and the Boston area. Favorites include Sorry
Wrong Number and Steel Magnolias at the Company Theatre, 4 short plays in two years at
the Dragonfly Festival at the Devanaughn Theatre, and Annie at Hingham Civic Music
Theatre. Highlights of past credits include: As You Like It, Fifth Of July, The Heidi Chronicles,
True West, Big, the Musical and The Crucible. Her original plays The MOMologues and
MOMologues2: Off to School, have appeared around New England, and in New York and.
Chicago. Dutch and Flemish versions of the show have played to capacity audiences of
moms in the Netherlands and Belgium. Lisa is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild.

CAST
Jonathan Popp (Man) is currently playing the role of Rudge in his SpeakEasy debut with
History Boys. Other local credits include /This is Our Youth/ (Dennis) and /Dog Sees God/
(Matt) with Gurnet Theatre Project; /Funny Forum /(Miles) with Boston Theatre Works;
/Distant Music /(Dev Heart) with Image Theatre; and /The Grapes of Wrath/ (Tom Joad) with
Stoneham Theatre. A graduate of Boston College, Jonathan has also studied with the
British American Drama Academy in Oxford where he learned that fries are chips and chips
are crisps.
Claire McClanahan (Woman) started out in the Minneapolis theatre scene as a child. She
studied at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Webster University in St. Louis and obtained
a degree in theatre from Western Illinois University where she trained in everything from the
classics and Shakespeare to contemporary theatre, stage combat and dance. In 1998 she
moved to New York City where she studied with Michael Howard, embarked on a national
musical theatre tour, and had the opportunity to play a variety of dramatic and comedic roles
in theatres throughout Manhattan including Ensemble Studio Theatre, Manhattan Theatre
Source, Schubert Theatre, and WOW Cafe. She moved to Boston in late 2006 for a position
at Parallax Productions where she is now an Emmy-nominated producer/writer. She
currently studies with Fran Weinberg and was last seen performing as "Serena" in 'Benny
and Serena's High School Graduation' with the Rhombus Group at Boston Playwright's
Theatre. Favorite roles include: "Christine" My Sister in this House, "Rose" Rose Toibin,
"Michael" Girls Club, and "E.B. Colt" Art of Dining for which she received a 1997 Irene Ryan
Nomination.
